Welcome to Calling All Kidneys, some things have changed around here….we have created a page to list all the “Kidney Pages on Facebook”, we found it was difficult to find these pages and wanted to place them in a central location.  These types of pages is where we received support in the beginning of our search for a donor and they are great resources since they are all in different phases of finding a donor.  To see our story, click on the “about” box above, all of our stories, videos and press coverage can be found there.  We will be posting additional pages with links to other resources that you may find helpful.  Thank you for all your support and feel free to send me your links/ideas that may help others or help share your story…..

HI what a great idea. My husband has been sick for almost five years he does dialysis 3 times a week. We are still waiting fora kidney someday and would love to get his story out. We have 3 beautiful children 16, 9, and 9 months. How do I post his facebook to this? thanks so much.

  2. I’ve had 2 failed transplants and now need a 3rd. I’ve been in kidney failure for 26 years; I was diagnosed at the age of 14 and had my first transplant at 15. I now do peritoneal dialysis at home; 6 exchanges a day. I’ve been in the hospital 4 times in the past 3 months because of pneumonia, vasculitis and to have my transplanted kidney removed. I am a single mother of 3; ages 18, 15 and 7. My kids need their mother back and I need my life back. I have a Facebook Page called Polly’s Kidney that my friend set up for me to help me find a donor. Thank you so much!

  3. My daughter needs a kidney. I am not sure how to proceed. But I think this page is the best start.

    • There are many resources out here, good place to start is LKDN.org and get her story out there. You will be surprised that by asking people just to share the story, how many people will consider getting tested. Best wishes and feel free to message me with any questions as you move forward

  4. One month before our wedding last year my now husband who is 35 yrs old was diagnosed with renal failure last year. He is B+ and his wait is +/- 5yrs. Every day we pray for his kidney miracle. Help us find the answer to our prayers and spread the word! Like our page on Facebook.
